What makes this piece so distintive and one of a kind is the contrast between the sap and the heartwood. As one of the suggested pictures show, it looks great as a small plant or cactus pot (plant not included). If use for that purpose, I don't recommend plants that need a lot of water as it can filter through and damage the bowl.
