Product Care
One of the characteristics and beauties of wood is that it moves, cracks and turns over time and under certain conditions like moisture and heat. Although most of the timber I work with it has seasoned before turning, it is likely to change slightly as it ages.

My preference over finishes is mainly natural oils and wax that keep the organic look of the wood and also protects it from moisture. For cleaning and maintaining the items in good condition, rubbing a simple clean cloth would buff it back to life and they might occasionally need to be oiled. Sometimes other finishes applied are more durable and water resistant, this would be specified on the item itself. In any case, I would NOT apply any cleaning product as it might damage the finished surface.

Items are mainly for decorative purposes and have not been treated to consume or store food products in them.

Do not expose wood to excessive heat or water.
